Superfeet insoles adapt the generic, 2-dimensional surface inside your hockey skates shoes to your 3-dimensional foot. The distinct Superfeet shape helps to stabilize the foot, while the stabilizer cap and foam provide support and comfort.
There is no industry standard for footwear sizes (for example, a size 7 from one manufacturer might be different from a size 7 produced by another). This is why Superfeet makes full length insoles in size ranges to handle the variations. You may need to trim your insoles to fit in your footwear. For a proper fitting Superfeet insole your heel should fit perfectly inside the cup with no overlap. If the insole is too narrow you should go up one letter size. If your toes extend beyond the end of the foam forefoot you should also go up a letter size.
